While practicing dentistry in San Diego, several colleagues from the navy and I started a dental study club. Over the years, the study club has grown. We have gained more than 100 members as the club has evolved into a philanthropic organization.
Acting as a volunteer clinical dentist at the University's free clinics, I have been able to work with the doctors and students to provide dental care to thousands of patients and veterans in need. Financial assistance is always needed to provide health care to the underserved, veterans, and neighbors in need throughout the world.
Over the last ten years, we have sponsored dental mission trips to Cambodia, Guatemala, Nepal, Panama and the Dominican Republic, providing much needed dental care where access and resources are limited.
